My name is Tiffani Jackson and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of North Alabama and completed my Master of Social Work through the Advanced Standing program at The University of Alabama, with a concentration in Children, Adolescents, and Their Families.
I began my professional journey as a group leader in an inpatient facility for adolescents before transitioning into outpatient therapy. I have experience working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, self-worth struggles, and behavioral challenges. My clinical background includes working in inpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient therapy settings, providing services to individuals, groups, families, and couples.
My approach is client-centered and flexible, with a strong focus on psychoeducation to help clients better understand themselves and their experiences. I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma-informed care, strengths-based techniques, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness practices, and relapse prevention planning. I incorporate grounding skills, coping skill building, communication skills, and behavioral interventions based on what best fits each client’s needs, goals, and comfort level. Above all, I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my 3 furbabies, trying new recipes, and exploring the outdoors. I look forward to supporting clients on their journey toward growth and healing.
