Medication Management
Psychiatric medications can treat physiologically rooted mental health issues that therapy alone cannot.

Medication can be a life-changing therapy. Our less-is-more approach respects clients' values and health.
Psychiatric medication can be a life-changing, or even life saving, therapy for many people. The goal of our medication services is to provide stabilizing care. Medication can be incredibly helpful for clients who are dealing with issues that traditional talk therapy is insufficient to treat. Insurance normally covers medication management services for psychiatric issues, as well as therapy. Additionally, medication can allow clients who are also undergoing therapeutic treatment to make more consistent progress. Some common issues that our prescribing clinicians treat are:
Anxiety
Depression
ADHD
Trauma/PTSD
Mood and personality disorders
Schizophrenia
Addiction
Our prescriptive clinicians do not prescribe controlled substances and work exclusively with clients aged 16 and older. Typically, an intake session with one of our prescribers lasts one hour, whereas followup sessions can range between 30 and 45 minutes. During that time, the clinician will assess for psychiatric illness, evaluate the client to determine an appropriate treatment protocol, and prescribe an appropriate treatment. Oftentimes, they also conduct basic therapy with their clients in addition to their evaluation. Our prescribers spend more time with their clients than the average so that they can get a true understanding of how their client's mental health affects their life and how their treatment is progressing.
